Not sure about this one, it might have been more appropriately stated that she is against people eating meat, rather than inferring she dislikes all people who eat meat. Yikes.
Against those who eat meat? That comes off as kind of a nasty attitude. I was a vegan for a long time (which was quite unhealthy I found–vegetarian on the other hand can be healthy) and I must say, I’ve never come across such a group of intolerant, holier-than-thou brats as in that culture. This statement brought me right back to those superior little veggie-nazis. How about “I’m against eating meat for reasons a, b, and c.” Intolerant attitudes and childish behavior give all non-meat-eaters a bad name.
